Jonathan Daintry
Managing Director & Co Founder
Jonathan is an English former private banker of over 10 years standing. Most recently he has worked at HSBC, Royal Bank of Canada, and latterly Standard Chartered Bank, servicing the financial and wealth management needs of UHNW client families in the Middle East region. In April 2015, his focus on local families led him to relocate from London to Dubai. Jonathan is a graduate of both the University of Central Lancashire and the Royal Military Academy, Sandhurst. After leaving Sandhurst, Jonathan served for 10 years as an Officer in the British Army. It was during this period that he formed his first relationships in the region. Jonathan is one of the founders of Balmor Family Office Advisory, which came about as a direct result of demand from UHNW local families for internationally experienced, highly qualified and dedicated advisors to complement their existing family office capabilities.
Nigel Putt
Consultant
Nigel Putt is a wealth management business veteran of 40 years with considerable experience in assisting international families in the management and structuring of their wealth. He has lived and worked in Hong Kong, Dubai, Geneva and London and covered South Asia and the Gulf extensively and since retiring in May 2024 set up his own consulting business based in UK and through which continues to serve clients and contacts in the UAE including acting as advisor to the board and the investment committee of a local investment firm. When based in Dubai he was Chief Representative/SEO of three wealth businesses in DIFC latterly Lloyds International Private Banking for whom he was also Head of Ultra High Net Worth based in Geneva. Having always had a keen interest in board governance and family wealth structuring he brings considerable practical experience to the resources of Balmor Family Office and its clients. Nigel is a chartered member of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment and is an active member of their panel of mentors.
